Does anyone know where this spike in sales came from? Especially when used ones are $10K to $20k off MSRP already? Fleet sales maybe? It outsold the Hyundai Equus, Chevy SS, and Acura RLX. Something is funny here...

It’s almost double their previous best month (2nd month on sale). Something seems fishy......

It’s the LeBron effect.

I think they dropped the MSRP. Edmunds lists the MSRP at $66k, but Kia’s website (and others) show $54k.

Also, they are offered wayyyyy below MSRP.

I was thinking the same thing. Hey my family brought it up completely out of the blue. They said,

“Have you seen that K900? It’s a really nice looking car!”

“Did you guys just see LeBron with one?”

“Yeah!! We should go check one out.”

So yes, my family is completely swayed by anything basketball players are seen with.

And that is exactly what my thought was. I think it might be the service guys scooping them up though. Nicer and more distinct than a 300 or Avalon, and cheaper than a Suburban even with those mark downs. We’ll see if I start seeing more around airports.
